Our History

We started in agriculture services more than 50 years ago, alongside a sister company, in Flandreau, South Dakota. While selling feed, seed, and fertilizer to local farmers, we realized a need for something more.

In 1993 we separated and, as J.C. Ramsdell Enviro Services, Inc., began fabricating and installing environmental containment systems. Our business model has evolved, but we’ve held on to our belief that every customer and business deserves dependable, experienced service. That’s the way we do business.

We’re on-the-spot problem solvers.

J.C. Ramsdell works with ethanol plants, fertilizer retailers, and other branches of the agriculture industry. We’ve handled everything from helping rural farm operations to stopping railcar spills using methods that no other company can (although they’ve tried). We’ve installed containment systems on more than 4,000 individual sites, as well as millions of feet of synthetic liner, throughout the United States and Canada.
